Playground and yummy time..

Adaleigh's first trip to the playground... and I'm starting to get used to my camera. yay! :)







Adaleigh is growing so fast.. almost 5 months old now! Crazy! She also just rolled over for the first time this weekend. Pretty soon she will be taking off.. crawling, scooting, walking.. she'll find a way.


She's also loooving baby food.





She is becoming such a character.. always making me smile and laugh. Alex and I are so blessed to have such a beautiful and wonderful baby girl. Total strangers ask me all the time, "Is she always this good?" and I love to answer them, "YES! She is such a good baby!" ;)

As Easter approaches..

We are super excited about Easter coming up this weekend. Even though Adaleigh is not able to hunt for eggs this year, I know she will enjoy all the pretty spring colors surrounding her. :) We have already received tons of gifts, mainly stuff for Adaleigh. Clothes, books, toys.. Adaleigh is so loved by her aunts, grandparents, great grandparents.. and all her other relatives. We got Easter pictures taken at the portrait studio on Tuesday. They turned out soo cute! We should have them back by April 1st.. and I will definitely be posting them for all to see.

As for now.. here are a few cute pictures of Adaleigh. She is now 15 pounds and 26 inches. And growing so fast!!

Adaleigh loved seeing her grandma and grandpa Hickman last weekend. And she is super excited they will be in LaGrange all summer!!

Adaleigh and Agape..

I can tell that Adaleigh and Agape are going to be great friends. Agape is so protective of her already, and he always wants to be close to her. And Adaleigh is always looking for him. Whenever she find him, they just star at each other.. its the cutest thing. It's like they have there own way of comunicating. Here are a few pictures that I took with our new camera, I am still trying to figure out how to use it, my pictures usually end up blurry, so I am still learning. Here are few that turned our pretty cute. :)

In a hurry..

Some how I always forget to update my blog, so I apologize! I decided to make a quick update before we have to leave for chuch tonight. Adaleigh will be 3 months tomorrow!! She is definitely growing very fast. She is already very strong. She's been holding her head up sturdy for a while now, and shes able to sit up with just a little support. She's also on a pretty good schedule, eating every 4 hours, and going about 7-8 hours at night. Such a blessing. Agape is doing great with her, although he is still marking his territory when he gets the chance. We are definitely looking forward to getting a house in the future where Agape can run and play outside and have a little more freedom! Here are some pictures for you to enjoy.

Oh and Camille.. Alex and I just bought a Canon Rebel XTi and we are super excited to learn how to take awesome pictures. :)

The weekend..

This past weekend was tons of fun. We had Alex's birthday on Friday to celebrate and then we went on a young adult retreat with a couple of our friends from Turnaround. I was so excited about this weekend because I got to see all my Florida friends as well as all the pastors and leaders that discipled me. It was so refreshing for me, plus I am so glad that Stephen, Leah and J.J. enjoyed theirselves. And it snowed on Saturday. It was amazing! I was soo happy. It didn't stick to the ground very long where we were at in Covington, GA.. but when we came home to LaGrange on Monday morning and still saw snow on the ground.. we were happy.

Here are some pictures that my best friend Brooke took of Adaleigh this weekend with her super nice camera.. I'm so glad I have great photographer friends and family. Everyone loves taking pictures of such a beautiful baby. :) Also theres a picture of Alex playing football, and a picture of worship (Stephen and Leah are in that one).

All in all.. we had a great weekend and can't wait to do it again next year. Thanks to you, mom, for watching Agape. We hope he didn't cause too much trouble. ;) We owe you a big one!

A lot has happened in the past month!

Sorry I have not updated since December 3rd!! I always seem to forget that I have this blog and when I remember, I'm too caught up in life to find the time to add pictures. But here I am again, I finally updating! Yay!

Adaleigh is growing so fast. She is now about 6 1/2 weeks and she weighs 11 lbs and is 23 1/2 inches. She is a very good and happy baby. We are definitely enjoying her being more alert and now smiling in response to our voices and certain toys.
