Quick Important Update..
Keep me in your prayers as I talk to the doctor today and make a final decision about what to do. I think it is probably best for baby's health to go ahead and be induced since shes so big, so that most likely will be what we do.
My parents stayed with us last night, and they brought their dog, Baby. Oh, boy! Agape did not like being locked in our room the whole night. He barked quite frequently throughout the night because he knew there was another dog on the other side of that door! Thankfully my parents are out shopping and looking at homes in the area (in case they decide to move up here soon) and they took Baby with them. Agape is doing great now, roaming the apartment and sniffing Baby's cage. I'm going to try to get some good rest since it's nice and peaceful now.

40 weeks and still no baby..

Waiting in anticipation...
Last week I purchased a kennel for Agape, and he absolutely loves it! I set it up and placed it next to our bed and the bassinet, and now he sleeps in it every night. It has been a blessing, and I know he will continue to love it once Adaleigh arrives. It's his space, his bed, and territory.
Agape also got a nice warm bath (he loves those) and a haircut.. it was getting way too long. It's nice to know that he still lets me do it, so it saves us money on not having to take him to the groomers. :)
So I went to the doctor's again this morning for my weekly check-up. Nothing new. Baby's heart beat is great, my blood pressure is great, and my belly is still measuring perfectly. I don't know if she's dropped yet, and my doctor didn't check to see if I was dialated, so I don't know that either. My next appointment is Monday morning at 8:30am and she will definitely check me then to see if I'm dialated since I will be 40 weeks and 1 day. Hopefully I will go into natural labor by then, otherwise she will have to induce me most likely Wednesday morning (the 21st).. which means Adaleigh will be here for Thanksgiving! yay! So exciting.
Here are more pictures of her room since we set up the shelfs and block letters...

37 weeks and almost ready to go..
I go in for my 37 week check up tomorrow to see how the baby is progessing. A couple people have told me they think she has already "dropped".. and they might be right. I definitely feel more pressure on my pelvic bone area.. and I can eat more now then I could just a couple weeks ago.. which is another sign that she's dropped. Other than that.. I've had some minor cramps lately.. my doctor says its probably Braxton Hicks, which is also good cause my body is getting ready and preparing me for the things to come.
Yay! Other than pregnancy and baby news.. Alex is enjoying his new job. Though he works a lot more now, but I suppose its worth it. hehe :) I'm also trying to finish up my tax course.. but the final exam is in a few weeks.. which is when the baby is due. Yikes.. I just hope it works out and that the teacher can work with me to take it at a different time, if I can't be there on the day of the exam. I was also hoping to be able to work this tax season starting in January.. but training is all through December.. so that probably won't happen. Bummer! I guess my tax skills will have to wait till next year. :)
P.S. We are 99.9% positive the name is..... Adahleigh Rose, but we may change the spelling to Adaleigh or Addaleigh. It means beautiful addition, prosperous, and happy. We can't wait to meet our beautiful addition! Some people don't like the name Adahleigh.. so if thats your case.. we love the nickname Addie too. My mom has already decided to call her Addie, because she doesn't like Adahleigh.
Oh, and I will post more pictures next time.

Lots of busy days..
This past weekend we went on a youth group trip camping and we had a blast. God really did a lot in everyone's lives and I'm excited to see the youth learn more and desire to know God more. It was lots of fun.. although we killed lots of spiders in the girls cabin throughout the weekend.
Here are some pics from the baby room. It's not quite done, like it is at Grandma's house, but its almost there. We haven't put up the wall hangings, shelves, or clock that we bought. And we are also going to get a mini bookshelf to put under the mirror next to the closet. And we may or may not put the rocking chair back in there. But here they are...

Take a vote in the BabyConner pool..
Phew! Today was a long day at Turnaround alll day long, but lots of fun. The church is growing and I'm enjoying seeing new faces and making new friendships with the people that are getting plugged into Turnaround.
Camille, I'm not sure if I emailed you back or not. We pronounce Makenleigh kinda how its spelled.. "Ma-kin-lee".
I'm pretty sure we are either going to go with Makenleigh Rose or Adahleigh Rose.. this one looks harder to pronounce right, but we pronouce it "ad-da-lee". Makenleigh means "the princess" and "daughter of Kenneth".. and Adahleigh means "beautiful addition" and "prosperous and happy". We are getting pretty excited though because we finally found two unique names that we both like and agree upon!
I wanted to let you all get a chance to vote on our baby pool website.. click on the link below and it should take you right there.
I'll leave you with some recent pictures of Agape (our puppy).. taken right after a bath in the cute little bathrobe that mom conner gave us!

32 weeks and counting..
So the day is getting closer to when we finally get to meet our baby girl face to face. We are getting so excited and can't wait to have the room all finished and get all the shopping done. On Saturday we went to the birthing class at the hospital.. it sure was long, but very informative, plus we got to tour the labor and delivery unit, which was good. I wasn't to excited about learning all the medical treatments that go with giving birth, and the possibilities of a c-section. I've never had surgery, stitches, donated blood, or anything.. and I rarely get shots or give blood unless I have to because I hate them!
We still haven't decided on a name yet. Well we thought we had it.. Emaleigh Rose, but then we found out that there is a scary movie called The Exorcism of Emily Rose, and now I'm not so fond of it. But we'll see.. right now we have some options for names (as always), but we are back in the "not agreeing on one" stage.
These are the ones I like..
1. Emma Rosaleigh
2. Hanaleigh Rose
3. Arabella Rose
4. Adaleigh Rose
And Alex likes..
1. Makenzie Rose
2. Emaleigh Rose
3. he says he likes other ones.. but I have yet to hear them. lol
And we both sort of like Abileigh Rose. I don't know what it is with the "leigh", but I just love the way its spelled and it adds uniqueness to short, common names. Plus, its great that Alex likes it too. So, if you have any suggestions, feel free to send me a message.

Welcome...
We are so excited to be new parents. Alex really enjoyed registered at Babies-R-Us and Walmart, just because I let him hold the scanner... so he scanned everything he saw that said "Daddy" on it. It was funny to just watch him get excited. He's going to be a great dad, and I hope I will be a great mommy too.
Our new puppy, Agape, is doing very well. He plays a lot and wears himself out so much, so then he sleeps a lot. He is definitely preparing me in little ways to be a mom. Patience especially! Sometimes right after I have taken him out to go to the bathroom, he will walk right into the kitchen and go. But he's getting better. ;)
Here's some pictures for you to enjoy..
(right now we still have this rocking chair in the room.. but we will probably paint it back all white and move it somewhere else in the apartment.)
